Fantasy/Coming-of-Age in Unity | Ludum Dare 57 Entry (72 hours)
With: Nikki Do, Mirinae Toste, Judy Qu, and Elaine Zhang
After deciding on mechanics and how we wanted our game to relate to the theme ("Depths"), I developed the characters and story further and wrote a script for our Unity programmer and artists to use. It was surreal seeing how the story and themes resonated with some of our reviewers, and I'm super proud of our artists, who got our game placed in the top 50 entries for visuals!

Science Fiction in Ren'Py | 5th Annual CMGG Game Jam Entry (72 hours)
With: Vanessa Lam, Johanna Liu, and Elizabeth Sun
We brainstormed the worldbuilding, characters, and story beats as a team; then I synthesized everything into a script (including transitions, visuals, and sound effects) for our Ren'Py programmers to implement. I also designed the character sprites with two different artstyles, to contrast the realities they live in.

My first game jam ever, deserving an honorable mention. While I didn't do narrative writing for this one, I did create the 2D sprites based on Rose's vision for the characters and story aesthetics.
